At SOHI Lago, we believe in the power of community and the potential within every individual.

Our center is more than just a school; it is a sanctuary where children and adults with disabilities receive the care, education, and support they need to thrive.

Our Mission:

To foster an inclusive environment where individuals with disabilities can learn, grow, and achieve their fullest potential.

We offer specialized services in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Language Therapy, empowering our students to navigate the world with confidence and dignity.

In Guatemala, individuals with disabilities face significant societal barriers, often finding themselves marginalized and excluded from many aspects of daily life.

Deep-seated cultural stigmas, combined with a lack of awareness and inadequate support systems, have contributed to their widespread exclusion. People with disabilities are frequently seen as less capable, and opportunities for education, employment, and social participation are limited. This marginalization not only deprives individuals of their basic human rights but also hinders the nation’s progress toward a more inclusive and equitable society.

Together, we can build a future where every individual is valued, every voice is heard, and every potential is realized.

Every contribution helps provide essential therapies, education, and opportunities for our students to grow and thrive. By donating, you empower us to continue our vital work; by volunteering, you bring hope and encouragement directly into our classrooms. Together, we can create a future where every individual is valued and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Join us in creating opportunities for all.
